Y Pilcodyn ("The Minnow") is the smallest and most intimate part of the Little Fish Escapes collection. Thoughtfully designed to feel luxurious, calming and completely tucked away from every day life, this five-star shepherd's hut offers the perfect blend of comfort, craftmanship and coastal charm. Whether you're escaping for a romantic weekend, celebrating something special or simply craving quiet time by the coast, Y Pilcodyn was designed for slowing down properly. Warm textures, clever storage, soft lighting and beautiful interiors create a space that feels effortlessly cosy while still offering all the comforts of a luxury stay.​

Sitting alongside Llain Y Brenin and Cil Y Gwynt, Y Pilcodyn is perfect as a standalone romantic escape, or as additional accommodation when booked with one or both of the larger houses.

Inside, Y Pilcodyn comfortably sleeps between 2-4 guests and includes:

For spontaneous getaways, The Shepherd's Hut can be booked on its own, subject to availability. Standalone bookings are typically available for stays within the next four weeks, so keep an eye out for last-minute availability and special offers.

The Shepherd's Hut can also be added to a Cil Y Gwynt booking as the Little Fish Pod. Located within the grounds of the property, it provides additional accommodation and privacy for couples, family members or extra guests.

For larger celebrations and group stays, The Shepherd's Hut can be included as part of the Little Fish Collection, combining The Shepherd's Hut, Cil Y Gwynt and Llain Y Brenin into our largest accommodation package.
