OUR STORY
How Little Fish Escapes Began
It's hard not to fall for Anglesey - it embodies a very special kind of magic.
For our founder, Sarah Cross, it's been a part of life from the very start.
The story really begins with Sarah's maternal grandmother's family who first came to Rhoscolyn in the late 1800s.
That first visit became a tradition and generations of the family have been escaping to this idyllic corner of North Wales ever since - Sarah among them, spending childhood summers exploring its coves and rock pools.
Made for Memories
Built for Togetherness
Little Fish Escapes began as a personal project for Sarah - rebuilding Llain Y Brenin as a holiday home.
When Sarah became a mother herself - to five - she wanted to give her own children the same freedom she had experienced as a child: room to run on the beach, space to explore, somewhere breathtaking to simply switch off. Little Fish Escapes grew from there.
It didn't take long to want to share it. So the houses were build with every age and dynamic in mind, down to the smallest detail - to give other families the same gift of being together, and the kind of memories that outlast the trip itself.

Luxury In Every Corner at an Affordable Rate
We believe everyone deserves to feel properly looked after on holiday. That's why 'affordable luxury' isn't a slogan here - it's in every corner of every property. Five-star comfort, thoughtful touches and space for everyone, at a price that lets the whole group come along.

Run by a Family,
for Families
Founded by Sarah Cross and built from her own experience of wanting more ease, fun and connection in family travel, Little Fish Escapes was created from the ground up to make multi-generational gatherings feel effortless - spacious homes, thoughtful touches for children and grown-ups alike, and places where memories come naturally.
Today, Little Fish Escapes is supported by an in-house team who care as much about Rhoscolyn and Anglesey as Sarah does - and a dedicated House Manager making sure every stay feels effortless from arrival to departure.
Eifion Says:
"A fantastic, stylish house in a superb location. Twelve adults, three generations, and we had a fantastic time. There are plenty of private corners too, so you have space to chill.
We had wonderful local walks, and the pub is literally a stone’s throw away. The hot tub is not overlooked by neighbours, and the karaoke machines and surround sound bring out the fun in everybody."
Dawne Says:
"A very beautiful house with everything you can think of covered.
A fantastic location with breathtaking scenery, a very short walk to the beach and even shorter to a local pub serving lovely food.
The house is absolutely spotless, with every last thing you could need. We can’t wait to book again."
Charlie Says:
"Stylish, spotless, stunning property which is tucked away with wonderful views of the distant mountains of Snowdonia.
The beach is a 10-minute walk down a winding country road, but there is plenty to keep young and old entertained at the house as well."
Adele Says:
"This house is stunning. The location is beautiful and the pictures don’t fully show just how amazing it all is.
I would book again in a heartbeat. Sarah was lovely and helpful the whole way through. Couldn’t fault the stay at all. Fabulous!"
Helen Says:
"Absolutely stunning house in Anglesey, clean, stylish, well-equipped and comfortable. The hot tubs are amazing and so easy to use (unlike some I’ve used in the past). Sarah was communicative, helpful and always happy to answer my many questions.
Would highly recommend Sarah’s beautiful houses for a stay in North Wales."
